The distrACT app helps people manage feelings of self-harm or suicide. It's suitable for adults and children over 11 years old. The app provides advice on what to do if you have these feelings or if you are worried about someone else, and includes helplines and support group contacts. There is also a calm zone with books, stories, quotes and videos, and an emergency area for support. Healthcare professionals helped create distract, and it's free to download and use.
